Most of the music festivals in Indonesia tends to focus in one music genre only (eventhough they will always end up bringing some musicians who are not even close to the specific genre that the festival intends to show). These categorized music festivals definitely lack the festive vibe that a music festival should have. To break the mould, 280 Festival stormed out on social media channels and declared its new concept of music festival.

280 Festival (read : Two- Eighty) which is a phrase that means ‘to get attention’ has been drumming its latest concept and promising the public that the festival will be totally different from the previous music festivals in Indonesia. By combining music, art, and fashion, 280 Festival claim themselves as the first pop-culture festival that will be held in Indonesia. People also keep comparing the concept of 280 Festival with the marvelous concept of Coachella in USA (which also combines arts installation and top-notch music performers).

After having an endless curiousity with all of the hints that the festival has been spreading on their official Twitter account, the pop-culture festival finally revealed their line-ups. 280 Festival will have Ash as the headliners and the wonderful local line-ups such as Maliq & D’Essentials, Neomora, The Aftermiles, Rock N Roll Mafia, Efek Rumah Kaca- Pandai Besi, and Sierra Sotedjo. 280 Festival will take place at Lapangan D Senayan on November 23rd 2013.
