You might have this dream, meeting your favourite musicians and getting their autograph or taking pictures with them. While you are building this dream, this question comes to your head “But how do I get to make it real? I have no idea about how to!”. Well, since you have been dedicating most of your time for your favourite musicians, we are going to give some tips and share the secrets on how to meet your favorite musicians! Here’s your guide to be the Super Fan!

Following their accounts on social media

It’s the easiest way to get to know more about your favourite musician. Go follow their twitter, instagram, vine, facebook, anything that related to them and accounts run by them not just by some social media team. You’ll be the first one to know everything about them. If you’re planning to stalk them stick your eyes and fingers on your phone, they probably share some ‘clue’ about where they are staying or where they are heading at the moment.

Flooding or not flooding

After following their accounts, you can ask them about where they are staying. WELL, They won’t answer it directly or in short you will have them not answering any of your messages! Here’s the thing, it’s pretty much like  ’all or nothing’, what you have to do is flood their account with your messages! It may sound lunatic, but if you’re lucky enough, your favourite artist will reply your message or even drop an impromptu meet & greet session with them! But, keep in mind, doing this step is very risky. It will give you either two things : 1. Getting blocked by them and it’s very disturbing. Or 2.You get your wish granted. Ps : according to some fans who have met their favourite musicians, they got invited by sending a flood of messages to the bands

Befriend other fans

Seriously, making friends will help you a lot. By being a friend with another fans, it’ll help you get more information from A to Z about how to meet your favourite musicians.

Checking Their Flight Schedule

Greeting your favourite musicians when they have arrived in your hometown, will be a one hell of a welcome for them, what you have to do is find the best sources to know their flight schedule. How? Do the previous step : Be friends with other fans!. We recommend you to contact with a fan from another country/city where your favourite musicians just visited. They will help you in giving informations about “Hey! The bands just left my country at XX.XX PM! They might arrive in your country in the next couple of hours!”. However, we don’t really recommend you to this step, because you don’t know what kind of mood that your favourite bands are capable of, if it took hours for them to arrive in your city, you better not greeting them at the airport. Just give them some space first.

Checking Out Their Hotel

The promoter will probaly put the bands near the concert venue. But sometimes, it is the other way around. You need to make sure where the bands are staying. After figuring it out, wait for them in the lobby. It doesn’t matter if you have to wait for hours because once you have met your favourite musicians, it’ll be worth it!

Meet and Greet!

After following the steps above, now get your camera and ask them nicely whether they mind for a photo op or not. You need to behave and dont scream! Slow, steady, and be polite. The nicer you are, the bigger chance you will get their photograph. However, don’t put all of your efforts just for the sake of taking a photo with your favourite musicians! Sometimes they are not in the mood for photos, and they will say “signing only, please.”, so make sure you bring along your CD or anything you want signed.

It may seem like a total freak that you have to do these steps just to meet your favourite bands, but let us bring up the point of this, when your favourite musicians who live million miles away from you and they finally visit your city, which has made you a bit closer to them, it’s safe to say that you have to meet them.
