Franco is a band from Philippine, was formed in 2008. Franco is the name of the band’s vocalist, who also the lead guitar on the band. 4 others are Gabby and 8 (Eight) as a rhythm guitar, Buwi as bassist and JanJan on drums. The members of this band are from different bands that exist in Philippines, who are veteran in Pinoy rock scene. They already had 1 album, which 11 tracks on the album. This band inspired by Bob Marley, Jimmy Hendrix and Led Zeppelin, and so you’ll find reggae, rock and alternative in their music. Franco the vocalist said that they pick this genre because the Filipinos likes this kind of music.

When they played at Java Rocking Land 2011 Jakarta, Indonesia on July 23rd 2011, they shocked the audience with their first song “Touch the sky”. Within less than a minute, Segara’s Stage, Ancol was filled by the audience. Franco (the vocalist) said that he was really happy because the audience seems had fun with their music, and he felt that Indonesian people enjoyed their music and he would love to come back again to Indonesia.
