We know we aren’t a lifestyle webzine, but as long as it comes to good music, we really have an urge to share the good music with you all. We received (and saw) a quite hype of the fashionista’s must-attend event, the Spring-Summer 2014 fashion week. The most prominent shows are held in New York, London, Milan, and Paris. It’s obvious that we have a zero skill in understanding fashion, we can’t even name the current trend or what-so-ever that are being talked in the fashion’s Bible ; Vogue. However, we also want to take and boost the hype of the big four! In this article, we aren’t going to talk about the models, the cuts, the designers, or the front row seaters, We are going to give you the fashion week’s best playlist! Compiled from the best shows that have the best soundtrack. London Riots: Indie labels got ‘burned’

Sony DADC building in London was destroyed during the riot in London, Monday August 8, 2011. The building which are the main warehouse of many UK Indie Labels distribution such as 4AD, Beggars, XL Recordings, Domino, Soul Jazz, Warp and Rough Trade had lost large amount of CD, Vinyls and LPs in fire. That including the physical release of Arctic Monkyes’ new single The Hellcat Spangled Shalala (which planned release on august 15th) will be delayed until further notice from the label and also Charlie Simpson’s debut solo album Young Pligrim which have been destroyed around 300.000 unites. The PIAS’s website itself has confirmed the incident from their website;

“There was a fire last night at the SonyDADC warehouse which services the physical distribution for [PIAS] in the UK and Ireland. [PIAS] is working closely with SonyDADC who are implementing their emergency plans. [PIAS]‘s UK offices in London and all other areas of our business are unaffected. More information will be communicated shortly to all our labels and partners.”

Many indie artists and other people in music business worried the most, especially retailer HMW where the shops affected on the first wave of the violence. They also mention it on their twitter, concerning the incident;

Let’s hope this won’t last long, if the youth wants to tell something to the police or the government they should’ve discuss it in a proper way so it won’t cause much loss like this. (Othy/Huffingtonpost)
