Hardwell is set to bring his globally renowned I AM HARDWELL – UNITED WE ARE WORLD TOUR to Jakarta, Indonesia, on Saturday, 2 April 2016 at Carnaval Beach, Ancol. The event will be organized by Indonesia’s leading concert promoter, Ismaya Live.

Hardwell is bringing the tour’s state-of-the-art full production to Jakarta and audience is in for a spectacular experience that has been witnessed by hundreds of thousands around the world. The Dutch-origin DJ who was named World’s #1 DJ by DJ Mag in 2013 & 2014, as well as Best International DJ in 2015 in the prestigious DJ Awards, has been on the road to support his highly-anticipated debut album ‘United We Are’ that was released in 2015.

Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP) 2012 successfully scored Jakarta on December 7^th 2012. Brought some big names to town like Avicii, Calvin Harris, and Paul Van Dyk really prove that DWP 2012 really is the biggest dance music festival in Indonesia. With a very unique and interesting concept by putting three major stages at Istora Senayan Jakarta, really gave us another experience in enjoying an EDM (Electronic Dance Music) festival. In a cooperate with Djarum Super MLD, Ismaya Live brought this year’s festival with “Escape, Celebrate, Dance” for the theme. When we entered the venue, we were welcomed by a big square covered with an LCD on each side of it.

At the Surya MLD, Angger Dimas, one of the local heroes who has done some work with noted DJ such as Tiesto and Steve Aoki, was on board to give some warming up tunes before Calvin Harris hopped in.

Right at 1 AM, the world’s EDM star finally on board, “Hello,Jakarta! This is me Calvin Harris…” opened Calvin Harris before he played his set. 15 minutes after he opened the set, rain started pouring, we thought the crowd would be dashing out since Surya MLD stage was an outdoor venue, but we stand corrected, the crowd kept dancing like rain was the last thing they had to worry on that marvelous night. Calvin Harris played his tracks like Awooga, You Used to Hold Me, Flashback, and also his featuring track with Rihanna, We Found Love.

The closure for the night was Avicii, it was really fun to catch Avicii for the second time in 2012. In April, Avicii shook Jakarta at Fairgrounds, as what we experience from his previous visit to Jakarta, we know this time at DWP, the craziness will be two-fold. Avicii got on deck at 2.30 AM. Obviously, people had to wait longer to bust some moves for his Levels, because Avicii put it as the final shot. When Levels’ intro blasted the stereo, the crowd did a massive choir along with “Oh, sometimes I get a good feeling, yeah I get a feeling that I never, never, never, never had before, no no I get a good feeling, yeah” and the situation got more radical when the confetti shot to crowd in a splash of a magnificent lighting.

Djakarta Warehouse Project 2012 is a serious competitor for Singapore’s Zouk Out, despite of the very strategic location in Jakarta, DWP keep bringing the greater dimension every year. The another thing is, DWP is different with the typical of rave party which used to be held in town. Usually, rave party is located in the northern side of Jakarta, Ancol. But DWP held it at the downtown side of Jakarta which makes it more accessible.

We did the same thing as the festival told us to do “Escape, Celebrate, Dance”. Magnificent lighting, amazing crowd, head-spinning sets, three major stages, laser shot, world-class EDM artists, a cannon of confetti, and the best executor was THE RAIN! Now in its 5^th year, Playground teams up with Dimensions, to present you Dimensions Playground Festival that will see the festival at two major cities in Indonesia, both Jakarta and Bali.

As to maintain the variety of line-ups, this year’s Dimensions Playground covers a broad spectrum of musical genres in our three widespread arena Embassy Stage, Wonderbar Forest Soundsystem and The Silent Concert area plus visual enhancements for multi-sensorial festival experience. We are giving you a bit of everything this year. Whatever you have in mind, we’re genre bending here, we’re crossing boundaries of a carefully crafted boutique music festival to cater all you music heads.

Let’s kick off with GORILLAZ SOUND SYSTEM that presents to audience the heart and brain of Gorillaz multimedia set, Gorillaz Sound System will give their performance for both cities Jakarta and Bali in the main area. And as we breakthrough boundaries of dancing in our Embassy Playground 2008 with The Silent Disco, we tailor-made ourselves the experience of ‘no noise’ concert plus many added improvements this year with our very own THE SILENT CONCERT area which will feature 2 DJs and 1 Band in 3 different stage right in front of you at any given time, which allows audience to choose from 3 selectable channels of the music they can choose from the headphones which will be given in the area. We have custom made 1.000 pieces of high-quality wireless headphones to wow the audiences just for this, and the Switch headphones are owned by Urbanite Asia.

A specialized visual mapping of urban cityscape is also one of our highlights for this area, where you will witness fantastic video mapping delivered at the Silent Concert stage in conjunction with Kompas Urbana. Some of the artists confirmed to perform in the area are ALEXA and AGRIKULTURE who will be playing very inspiring different sets than ones you see anywhere else for the first time, tailored specifically for Dimensions Playground Market. They will be joined by the likes of Anton Wirjono, Winky, DJ Cream, Innoceroze, Akira a.k.a. Astronaughty, Winky, Dipha (Live Set), DJ Cream, Bone, Jerome, Tosynth, Crip, Downey & Sixteen for the Silent Concert area.

Our own WONDERBAR FOREST SOUNDSYSTEM will see different varieties of line-ups which also includes numerous different excitements as we design the venue carefully to match our psychedelic forest concept, where DJ’s like Anton Wirjono, Jakarta Techno Militia team, Danny Howells, Marc Roberts and Tosynth will also be joined by live band acts from SAINT ETIENNE who will perform a very special sunset performance, SIR DANDY and the nation’s most aspiring rock and roll act, BRNDLS also known as The Brandals.

To add to the exciting line-up is KELIS will headline our EMBASSY MAIN STAGE alongside GORILLAZ SOUND SYSTEM and with our own local heroes, Downey & Crip as the sound of DOMAIN and of course, Mahesa Utara who will close the set at our main area.
