Wednesday, 14 June 2017 – Tickets for the annual dance music festival DJAKARTA WAREHOUSE PROJECT (DWP) 2017 has been made available since yesterday, 14 June 2017 at 17:00 Jakarta Time through the official website of DWP 2017 www.djakartawarehouse.com. Within hours, General Admission (GA) Presale 1 tickets were sold out even though the festival’s lineup has not been announced. DWP 2017 is organized by ISMAYA LIVE and will take place on 15 & 16 DECEMBER.

            “We didn’t think that Presale 1 tickets would sell out within hours without mention of any lineup artist at DWP 2017 yet.” said SARAH DESHITA, the Assistant Brand Manager of Ismaya Live. “This is proof of the immense public’s interest toward DWP 2017 and this greatly motivates us to deliver an even spectacular experience this year.”

The DWP 2017 tickets that have been on sale since yesterday are 2-Day Pass tickets that are valid for both days of the dance music festival. There are three categories of available 2-Day Pass tickets, which are GENERAL ADMISSION (GA), VIP GOLD, and SPECIAL PACKAGE. Two-Day Pass GA includes two tiers: EARLY ENTRY 1 tier at Rp800,000,- which requires ticket holders to arrive at the festival before 19:00 Jakarta Time; and PRESALE tier starting at Rp860,000,- which allows ticket holders to arrive at the festival at any time. Several hours after ticket sales began, 2-Day Pass GA Presale 1 were sold out. Two-Day Pass GA Presale 2 are still available at Rp920,000,-.

Guests who have purchased 2-Day Pass VIP Gold Presale at Rp2,000,000,- are entitled to privileges such as a dedicated VIP Gold entrance gate to the festival, a dedicated VIP Gold e-voucher exchange line, VIP toilet, VIP bar, and access to VIP Viewing Area where they get an unobstructed view of their favorite DJs right in front on the stage. Also available is the Special Package which includes tickets to DWP 2017 and the summer festival We The Fest 2017 which will be held on 11, 12 and 13 August at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta. Guests who purchase the Special Package at Rp1,900,000,- get access to both We The Fest 2017 for three days and DWP 2017 for two days.

DWP 2017 will be the ninth instalment of the Ismaya Live music festival. Last year, DWP became the biggest 2-day dance music festival in Asia with attendance of 90,000 people from 37 countries in two days.

It’s crystal clear that coming to Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP) has been one of the barometers of how cool you are… well, that’s according to some group of people. However, that is quite true, because last year we did a small research on our team during #DWP14, 18 out of 20 people agree if you are coming to such festival like DWP would increase your coolness level just in one snap. BUT, we spotted some confused tweets or some insecurities from the #DWP’s first-timers! So, the first question that would pop in their mind is “How to act at my first #DWP?”. Anyways, some people might say “What the hell!? I don’t need guidelines. I just need to party!“, yet it’s crucial and quite useful to understand how you should behave at your first #DWP.

1. Know the world

For starter, there are two kinds of ravers, or people who go to rave. Ravers who enjoy the nightlife then pump up the whole night and ravers who wish to spend their time dancing and having fun. The point is, avoid the labelling of ravers.

2. Adopt P.L.U.R 

P.L.U.R stands for Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect. By understanding and adopting this way of thinking, you would gain some respect for the fellow ravers and it would help you to blend with the crowd easily. Remember, if you don’t adopt P.L.U.R, people most likely would just shut you down then you probably would spend the night being a boring raver.

3. Avoid the drug myth

Keep in mind that you want to have fun, not drugs. Dish out some stories that tell you the best way to enjoy the party is by having a handful of drugs. Don’t you want to brag some stories about how great the #DWP in the next morning on your social media? Then you need to stay away from it.

4. Comfortable is the best brand

Know what we witnessed from previous #DWPs? Yes, people who dressed up with killer stilletos. We have come to think that women nowadays are super strong that they could stand still with those hurtful shoes. We understand that you want to have longer legs or stilletos boost your confidence. So, our take is ; wear shorts, they would make your legs look longer (YAY!). The point of wearing clothes that you feel comfortable is you can dance freely!

5. Listen first before going

It’s always good to atleast know the line-ups’ songs, 1 or 2 songs is okay, well, practically the trick of knowing some songs so you can be like “OMG, This is my jam!” or “Play ‘Lean On’ please!!!“, you know what we mean  Ps : People would call you a poser by doing this, but what the hell with them.

6. Learn how to bust some moves

This is a so-not-important tip but quite important. People always say things like “Dance like no one is watching!” but again, people might be looking at you while you are dancing! So, it doesnt do any harm if you learn some dance tips. One or two moves is okay. The best thing is you just have to crack those frozen dancing feet then just follow the rhythm.

7. Mingle to the jingle

Ugh, don’t hate this one because of the rhyming line. Don’t ever be afraid to mingle with the fellow ravers. Rave party is one of the best mingling pool for you who are a fan of expanding the networking. What is best from mingling with others is you might be having new rave buddies in the future!
