Ireland’s lads have shown their fangs. The Cranberries and My Bloody Valentine are part of Ireland’s music history, and not to mention the phenomenal U2 who have won 22 Grammy Awards. Now, it’s the time for the young irish to take part on the track. The Strypes might be the strongest one who will break the mould. The band who were formed in 2011 consist of Ross Farrelly (lead vocals/harmonica), Josh McClorey (lead guitar/vocals), Pete O’Hanlon (bass guitar/harmonica) and Evan Walsh (drums). The band were formed by the schoolmates who have same passion in producing blues music, they describe their music as fast yet energetic rhythm ‘n’ blues. After a year they formed the band, their career started emerging in April 2012 when they released their first EP, “Young, Gifted & Blue” (contains of blues cover work like Bo Didley’s “You Can’t Judge A Book By The Cover”), and the EP went to number 1 in the iTunes Blues Chart just a day after it’s released. “We released it in April 2012, It was a complete shock and surprise to see it number 1 in the blues chart, we had no expectations like that at all. It was recorded on an A-Track with my dad and we made the artwork ourselves too!” Said the Band on them peaking the chart.

After getting bunch offers from record labels (such as Universal Ireland), the Strypes were led to the higher stage of their career, they signed with Mercury Records in December 2012. The band decided to be guided by Mercury Records because of the simple (yet very idealist reason) the label don’t seem will mess with them, just like what Jeff Back advised them “ Don’t get screwed by a record company! ”. The path on their career has gone more obvious as they signed with Mercury Records, the band begin playing here and there where hypest events are held. Eventhough they are somelike a newcomer in the industry, their fans have crossed to the elite rows. Sir Elton John once commented to the band “They have a knowledge of R&B and blues at 16 years of age that I have only amassed in my 65 years. They’re just like a breath of fresh air. “

On March 28th 2013, the band released their debut single “ Blue Collar Jane “. So far, the responses to their debut has been radically positive.

Just because you are young it doesn’t mean you don’t sound, that’s pretty much the best line to describe the Strypes. Day by day the band has become much bigger (as well as their fan base). Dave Grohl, Sir Elton John and Miles Kane are some of the big names who have turned into the Strypes’ listener. Seriously, do you think you have any reason to make you don’t like this band? N to the O.

It seems like forming a band with family has become a common thing. The Corrs, Kings Of Leon, Haim, and many more. The Bath based rock trio have included to the list. The Walter brothers, William, Timothy, and Ollie Walter came to a decision to form a band together after working in a band with different people. Their story is close to how Haim were formed(our The Next Big Thing’s last week), they found out that it’s easier to have some debate or thought-provoking session in producing music with their sibblings.

The brothers have been making music for about 8 years until 2011, then they started forming the Family Rain and collecting materials. The Family Rain’s idea is to mix up all of their influences like the Beatles, Rolling Stones, and AC/DC. As a trio, they actually sound pretty heavy and rich, by bringing classic rock blues and a slice of hip/hop ,the Family Rain spark out their talent as one of the bands which will buzz 2013. Their track “Trust Me, I’m A Genius” is a show off of why they come with what people have labelled them, “It’s great to be considered as a buzz band this year and we’re looking forward to getting out there and showing people why we have that label …. There seems to be a lot of bands with a bigger hype around them than us, so we’re not feeling the pressure too much, as least not as much as others might be…” said William to musicradar.com. The latest single from the band titled “Carnival” will burst your feet to dancing to its fuzzy guitars, the song is pretty refreshing and raw yet modern with a texture of classic rock (and again a slice of hip/hop).

The Family Rain are currently working on their debut album (with a help from Jim Abiss) at Hansa Studio (it’s the same place where U2 produced the major part of their “Achtung Baby“), Berlin. Well, we are so looking forward to see how this year will shape the band into! And if you are a fan of Jack White , the White Stripes, or the Black Keys, the Family Rain should be on your pick for new artist to watch!

Have you read the first 10 names that we posted as the big earner in music industry? If you haven’t, you have to head to the Part 1 of this article. And as you have been questioning the complete list, we’ll reveal them here!

10. Victoria Beckham

Shocker! The posh-spice made the list! Victoria Beckham was such a hit when she was a part of Spice Girls. And was a complete bummer when she decided to do a solo career. But hey, the money keep flowing since she jumps in the fashion industry and becoming the A-lister of Hollywood.

Worth : £ 190.000.000

9. Michael Flatley

Another “Who is he?”. Michael Flatley is a Rafael Nadal’s version on dance championship. Flatley created and choreographed the original Riverdance and led the show to great success as the intermission act in the Eurovision Song Contest on April 30, 1994. Flatley then starred in the full-length show that was developed from the seven-minute number. Michael Flatley is most widely recognized as the choreographer, director, and/or star of the Irish step dance shows, “Riverdance”, “Lord of the Dance”, “Feet of Flames” and “Celtic Tiger”. He was the first American to win the World Irish Dance Championships and holds the world record for most taps per second.
Worth : £ 192.000.000

8.Sir Elton John

Sir Elton John has been known for his master in writing a romantic and songs about humanity. As a prove of how rich he is, he is reportedly owns the largest private photography collection in the world. Or let’s say he can buy some of remoted exotic islands for his son. On his career, Sir Elton John has won six grammys and one of them is “Grammy Legend Award”.

Worth : £ 220.000.000

7.Simon Cowell

This man is not being rich just because of his cut throathing comments on his silly talent show. But also, just for your information, he produced Il Divo or Will Young.
