Local Vocal (No.6) : Jirapah

Jirapah is a Ken Jenie’s Recording project with a help from Mar Galo (Synth), Januar Kristianto (Drums), Yudhis Tira (Guitar), and Nico Gozali (Bass). Jirapah was actually born as a recording experiment of Ken Jenie in Brooklyn, New York. When it comes to live performances, Ken asked their friends to help him to showcase the music that he has created. During their New York days, Ken and his long-time partner, Mar, have played some small gigs from bar to bar.

When they have decided to come back to Indonesia, Ken and Mar met Jan, Yudhis, and Nico, later they met to a decision to form Jirapah’s brand new live formation. They have released some free EPs on the Internet such as “Digital 7” volume 1 and 2” and now they’re aiming for something more. Go check their tunes here.
