When Passion Pit Take A Walk In Singapore

We fall in love with the band since ‘Manners’ and are hard to dislike their ‘Chunk of Change’, so when they release their ‘Gossamer’ and announce their show in Singapore, thanks to Greenhorn, we surely hard to missed it out. (8/21/12)
Michael Angelakos, Ian Hultquist, Jeff Apruzzese, Xander Singh and Nate Donmoyer are bringing their music into a whole new level in the concert. Despite of their long sound checking, the band manage to directly pump the crowd by starting the show with with their single ‘Take A Walk’ followed by ‘The Reeling’ and ‘Moth’s Wings’, which for me personally was a good kick.

The songs they played were a fair combination of all 2 albums and the EP. The crowd which mostly are young adolescent can’t stop to sing a long to the band’s hits such as Moth’s Wings, Carried Away, Constant Conversations, I’ll Be Alright, It’s Not My Fault I’m Happy, Sleepyhead to Little Secrets.

The mix of synth(s), keyboard, drum beat and Michael’s child screaming create their very own electropop sound that everyone in the room cant resist but to dance to it. Another unique fact of the night was Jeff’s birthday and so does like every lead band would do, Michael asking the crowd to sing for the birthday boy. Overall the show was another nice way to release our daily routine in the middle of the week and obviously great way for South East Asian fans to enjoy Passion Pit live at last.
