Three Weeks Warm Up En Route to We The Fest 2018
Approaching WTF18 on 20,21, and 22 July, We The Fest 2018 is throwing a bunch of pre-event shows for three weeks titled ‘Road to We The Fest 2018’ that is free for crowds to enjoy as a warm up before We The Fest 2018. The first We The Fest 2018 will be held tomorrow, July 4th at Atrium East of Mall Grand Indonesia with special performances from musicians that are going to perform at We The Fest 2018, Andien and Abenk Alter. Road to We The Fest 2018: JOOX x H&M will be held for 1 hour from 18:30-19:30 WIB and will be broadcasted in JOOX app at 21:00. The next show will be held on Wednesday, 11 July 2018 at Kota Kasablanka with special guest GAC and Kimokal at 19:00-20:00 WIB, and will also be broadcasted live from JOOX app. 
Moving forward, Road to We The Fest 2018 will focuses on movies to warm up before WTF Cinema Club, a silent cinema that will make an appearance at We The Fest 2018. A screening of a documentary of the late English singer, Amy Winehouse, titled ‘Amy’ will be on Thursday, 5 July at Kinosaurus, Kemang at 19:00 WIB. Road to We The Fest 2018 will also be held at Twilo skate park, Kemang, on Friday, 6 July 2018. This event will introduce the new zone of We The Fest which is a skate park in collaboration with Twilo called WTF Skate Park. Laze and Erik Soto are confirmed to perform at the event, from 16:30 to 21:30 WIB. All of you skaters can attend this event and join their best trick contest to win We The Fest 2018 ticket!
A talkshow of behind the scene of We the Fest 2018 titled Sehidup Semusik, the outcome of We The Fest 2018 collaboration with Pophariini, will be held on Friday, 13 July 2018 at Sehidup Sekopi from 17:00 until 19:00 WIB. The talkshow will have Sarah Deshita as Ismaya Live Assistant Brand Manager, and Widi from Maliq and D’Essentials as the moderator, attendants can get a glimpse of the behind the scene from the making of We The Fest and know some fun facts along the way.
In its 5th year, We The Fest will be held on the 20, 21, and 22 July 2018 at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta and will showcase 61 performance from international and Indonesian acts, including Lorde, James Bay, Sza, Alt-J, Odesza, The Neighbourhood, GAC, Efek Rumah Kaca, Dipha Barus, Albert Hammond Jr, and more. Tickets for We The Fest are available at wethefest.com. Last year more than 50,000 people attended the 3 days festival, including President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo.
