1. Ian Brown and John Squire’s very first time meeting was when they were in a sandbox as a children. But, they properly became a friend when they attended Altrincham Grammar School for Boys. And the things that bond them over was, The Clash and Sex Pistols.

2.Some informations said that “The Stone Roses” came as a tribute for “The Rolling Stones and some said that the name was taken from a 1959 spy thriller of that title by Sarah Gainham. But these were untrue! Ian Brown said that the band’s name came from something with a contrast, two words that went against each other. Stone – Roses

3. The Stone Roses were the pioneers of the “Madchester” music scene of the late 1980s and early 1990s. And this also included bands such as The Charlatans, The Happy Mondays, and North Side

4. Do You know that “Where Angels Play” doesn’t only have one lyrics? But it also has an alternate one!

5.The Stone Roses are definitely not the first band that Brown and Squire were into. In the early 1980s, they founded the Patrol which later led them to The Stone Roses.

6.David Beckham is a huge fan of The Stone Roses, rumours said that Beckham was also one of the people who convinced the band to do a reunion.

8.On the Stone Roses’ National Tv debut forBBC The Late Show (1989), when they performed “Made of Stone” all of the sudden the power failed and shut down most of the instruments. After that, Brown kept shouting “Amateurs! Amateurs!” meanwhile the presenter tried to divert the attention.

9. 150.000 tickets for The Stone Roses’ two Heaton Park shows got swept off just only in 14 minutes! Can you imagine how huge the demand of the fans in seeing them?

10.Liam Gallagher went to one of the most historical gigs of The Stone Roses, The Stone Roses at International 2 in Manchester, and it was his first gig. Apparently, this gig made him to make a band. And you know the rest? Oasis were born. Thank to The Stone Roses, Oasis’ avid fan!
