Guidelines for Laneway Festival Singapore 2013

Wohooo! Laneway Festival Singapore 2013 is coming at you! What?  You are so clueless about what you have to prepare before going to the festival? No worries, we have created an ultimate guidelines for Laneway Festival this year. Get your reading head on to know them :

1.    Get to know the Venue.
This year’s St. Jerome Laneway Festival will take place in a brand new Singapore’s landmark, Gardens By The Bay (Once again, please remember that the venue for this year will be at Garden’s By The Bay, NOT Fort Canning Park). So it’ll make your festival trip a lot more easier by peeking these promoter-provided venue  maps.

2.    Get to know the set times.
We’re pretty sure that you’ve already set to choose your preferred artists to watch. But, don’t forget to check the set-times! You don’t want to miss your favorite artists, right? For example, if you want to spend your afternoon with Kings of Convenience’s eclectic sounds, be sure to arrive at the venue before 12.40 PM.

3.    Stay Hydrated and don’t forget to eat!
St. Jerome Laneway Festival is a 12-hours festival, so be sure to stay hydrated and don’t forget to eat. Because it’s going to be a long awesome experience and of course you don’t want to miss it! There are a lot of food stalls at the venue, so you won’t starve at the venue.

4.    Get  an extra supplement
For some people, they can’t stand over a scorching weather and the worst is they will pass out. And you definitely don’t want to miss the best performance. We  know you might be phsycally exhausted, so please bring some vitamins which can make you to be more fit in enjoying the festival.

5.    Dress comfortably
The Meadow at Gardens By The Bay is (literally) a huge meadow. And also Laneway is a rain or shine event. So be sure to dress comfortably, you don’t want to get annoyed by your own outfit, right?

6.    Anticipating the weather
Yep, We said that it’s a rain or shine event, because of that, you might have to bring a raincoat or an umbrella. Let’s get you covered  if you’re not a person who likes watching concert while getting caught by a rain.

7.    The camera-pocket club
We love capturing moments in a concert, and definitely you want to capture them with the best quality of the pictures, BUT you are not allowed to bring a DSLR Camera to the venue. Don’t bother to sneak it under your clothes or lodging it in your bag, because you will still get caught. No worries, you are still allowed to bring a camera pocket.

8.    Enjoy the Festival!
