IN 12 DAYS, THE XX – I SEE YOU TOUR ARRIVES IN JAKARTA

British band The xx are bringing their ‘I See You’ tour to Jakarta on 23 January 2018 at Hall B3 JIEXPO Kemayoran as part of their 2018 Asia tour. The show is organized by Ismaya Live.Jakarta is the first stop of their 10-date 2018 Asia tour that will also visit Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Lantau Island, Beijing, Taipei, Pasay City, Osaka, Chiba, and Seoul.

Tickets to the show start at IDR 149,500 for the General Admission (GA) – Section 2 Early Bird category that are now sold out.

As of today, available ticket categories are GA – Section 2 Normal priced at IDR 260,000 each, GA – Section 1 priced at IDR 360,000 each, and VIP priced at IDR 600,000 each. Prices excluding 15% government tax.

“We receive hundreds of requests from our followers everyday and The xx are one of the most requested bands in the past few years,” said Kevin Wiyarnanda, PR & Media Relations of Ismaya Live.

“A lot of people were surprised when they learned about the ticket prices,” Kevin continued. “The reason as to why the ticket prices are so affordable is because of The xx themselves,” Kevin explained. “They want their first Indonesia show to be as affordable as possible for their fans in Indonesia.”

The ‘I See You’ tour was launched back in February 2017 to support their third studio album entitled ‘I See You’ featuring hits such as ‘On Hold’, ‘Say Something Loving’, and ‘I Dare You’.

The xx consists of Jamie xx, Romy Madley Croft, and Oliver Sim. Prior to ‘I See You’, the band have released two studio albums; ‘xx’ in 2009, and ‘Coexist’ in 2012.

The band was awarded with the prestigious Mercury Prize in 2010 for their debut album ‘xx’ and have performed at numerous globally-known music festivals around the world including Coachella, Glastonbury, Bonnaroo, Fuji Rock Festival, and Lollapalooza.
